Position Summary Postdoctoral fellow position is available in Prof. Papautsky's lab. In a collaborative project, we are developing microfluidic system for 3D culture of lung cancer patient-derived organoids to investigate novel drug resistance mechanisms. These microfluidic organs-on-chip enable us to adjust cellular, biophysical, and chemical parameters surrounding lung cancer while evaluating how they affect responses to therapy. The postdoctoral fellow will be involved in the device development, 3D cell culture, experimental studies involving patient tissues, and image analysis and classification. The selected candidates will have excellent opportunities to interact and collaborate with researchers in Engineering and Medicine for multidisciplinary training, participate in group meetings and present seminars, support editing of grants/manuscripts, and assist with supervision of graduate and undergraduate students.
