The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics is seeking 60% (24 hours a week) WEO Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) to work in our UICC Urgent Care and QuickCare Clinics. This position comes with our outstanding full benefit package!
UI Walk-in Clinics provide care to try to save our patients a trip to the emergency room. Our ARNP ill perform direct patient care, including diagnostic and therapeutic services. The ARNP will exercise autonomy in medical decision making and services provided. The ARNP will also assist in educating healthcare students, as they rotate through the respective departments and divisions and will assist in research endeavors as appropriate. This position reports to the Medical Director within the UI Community Clinics and Lead APP within UI Community Clinics. This position will main work/support our Urgent Care Holiday Road/Coralville location.
Our Urgent Care ARNP's are responsible to assess a wide variety of patients from newborn to geriatric and ensures patient care standards are met and provides access to additional care options not normally found at your traditional walk-in clinic including X-rays, IV fluids, and stitches. This position is part of a dynamic and fast paced environment, rich with opportunities for learning and growth. We utilize a multidisciplinary approach to patient care that encourages teamwork between multiple disciplinary teams to provide the most comprehensive care to our patients.
This position will mainly work/support our new Davenport location as well as float to other Quad City Urgent Care Clinics, as needed as we continue to grow.

Urgent Care and QuickCare Clinics are located throughout the corridor area (Iowa City, Coralville, Cedar Rapids) and act as walk-in clinics that treat a variety of illnesses. They are open Sunday through Saturday daytime and evening hours and see patients of all ages.

Schedule: Weekend Option / Work hours will be accomplished between Friday 3:00 PM thru Sunday 7:30PM with main hours completed Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
