University of Kentucky is Hiring an Administrative Support Associate I Near Lexington, KY

Job Summary

The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Office of Philanthropy & Alumni is accepting applications for an Event Assistant. This individual will assist with the coordination and execution of events, meetings, and administrative duties for the M-G CAFE Office of Philanthropy & Alumni.

This person will directly support the Director of Special Events with duties such as reserving spaces, securing vendors, preparing event communication, tracking event attendance, preparing materials, coordinating event volunteers, and other details.

In addition, this individual will serve as the college EMS (Event Management System) lead and as the Facility Coordinator for the E. S. Good Barn and all other college event spaces. They will also assist with administrative needs in the Office of Philanthropy & Alumni and other duties as assigned.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and strong communication skills. Required skills include experience with Microsoft Office, data entry, and event planning.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree preferred. Event and/or higher education experience preferred. Also, prefer experience using Event Management System (EMS).
