Job Summary
The STEPS Learning Specialist is part of the learning mission of the University. Specialist will present study skills workshops, tutoring, and course evaluations required for each part of a degree as well as fully explain the rationale of the courses and assist students in integrating the degree requirements as one part of a student’s overall career plan. This position provides firm information about degree programs within the Colleges so that students are equipped to make more informed decisions as they begin their college career and move through each year of study. Provide Student Support Services (SSS) options outside the Colleges by recommending key resources and individually guiding these students within the decision-making process. Student Support Services staffing is one key component within our collaborative and vast amount of resources all working towards student success including learning, retention, and graduation.
