Job SummaryThe individual will provide academic support to the new Computer Engineering Technology program. Responsibilities include:
- developing and implementing programs and events focused on increasing student enrollment
- meeting with potential transfer students to answer specific questions regarding the curriculum and their transfer courses
- meeting with WKCTC advisors on student transfer opportunities and how to seamlessly transition new UK students
- advising students through individual consultation by providing information on course selection and registration
- interpreting and explaining university and college policies and degree requirements
- assisting students in identifying skill interest and career options
- developing and implementing initiatives related to student success and retention in Computer Engineering Technology
- working with admissions offices at UK and West Kentucky Community and Technical College ( WKCTC )
- maintaining files on all enrolled undergraduate students
- working with Student Accounts Offices at UK and WKCTC on matters related to tuition
- liaising with Lexington for exchange of transcripts between UK and WKCTC
