University of Kentucky is Hiring a Surgical Technologist Near Lexington, KY

Responsibilities as a Surgical Technologist include desk duties (chart maintenance, answering calls, assisting visitors), keeping forms stocked, and entering orders. In triage, tasks involve equipment checks, bed cleaning, patient transfers, and check-ins. In labor and delivery, duties include setting up tables and equipment, assisting in deliveries and patient care, and serving as a scrub tech.
Qualifications and Requirements for a Surgical Technologist:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Degree or Diploma in Surgical Technology -OR- 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist in lieu of the degree requirement
- BLS Certification
