Coordinates patient care activity on the phone and in the office and clinic, providing necessary support to the physician within established guidelines. Patient care activities within scope of nursing practice will include but are not limited to patient assessment, medication management, phlebotomy, administration and monitoring of infused medications, collaboration with healthcare providers, patient education, procedural management, and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
* Current Maryland licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Two to three years clinical experience preferred
* CPR certification is required
Pediatric Experience required. Infusion and IV placement experience preferred.
