1. Under moderate supervision. The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that accounts meet all registration, compliance and billing requirements. Develops, conducts and monitors statistical, tracking and reporting of audit results. Assists the Compliance Coordinator and the E.D. Registration manager with recommendations for additional training based on audit findings.

3. Reports to the Emergency Department Manager.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years related healthcare experience, three of which are Patient Financial Services in a hospital setting, required.
• Current CPAT preferred.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements, third party payer requirements and audit procedures and processes, quality control and performance improvement required
