Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Graduate Student Affairs, your primary function in this role will be to provide coordination and implementation of the social science master's programs, and support for the students in the programs.

Note that this is a new position for the school and we anticipate that responsibilities and the percentage of time spent on specific job responsibilities will shift and change over time.

There is potential for this role to be hybrid, with on-site expectations 3 days a week in Ann Arbor, MI. For a full job description, please click .

Responsibilities*

Recruiting

  • Maintain recruiting folders and marketing materials
  • Input and maintain prospective student database
  • Respond to prospective master's student inquiries

Admissions

  • Manage functions within an application database and run queries
  • Create electronic folders for new applicants
  • Upload applications into Dropbox for faculty review

Student Advising and Assistance

  • Advise current Sport Management students to support academic success.
  • Provide policy interpretation to school faculty

Events Coordination

  • Coordinate the logistics for several graduate student events

Communications support

  • Oversee a weekly graduate student newsletter; manage related content on website; manage email groups

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 2 years of professional experience
