PurposeAs Director of Curriculum Engagement you will report directly to the Managing Director and provide functional support for signature learning experiences and other courses with emphasis on integration across the BBA curriculum and to the full student experience. You will create work assignments across courses, terms and assigned faculty.
This role is hybrid with onsite expectations in Ann Arbor, MI. You will travel domestically and/or internationally once or twice per year.

Responsibilities*
50% Curricular Program Support
  • Assist faculty with nonSLE course requests; facilitate connections for resources, projects, student staffing.
  • Provide consultation, for elective course development
  • Assist managing the Capstone course portfolio for inventory and evergreen offerings.
  • Lead the Ross Peer Mentor Program (including hiring support)
  • Provide strategic guidance to the Cappo Sales Track
  • Establish and manage operational budgets and external funds for Cappo and the Carson Scholars Program.
  • Collaborate with Chief Diversity Officer, Faculty Director, and Cappo Program Manager to ensure continuity of care and succession planning
  • Offer data-driven recommendations on spring/summer course offerings
25% Curriculum Engagement Team Management
  • Oversee the strategy, management, and coordination of Ross core curriculum signature learning experiences.
  • Design goals and learning outcomes for the Signature Learning Experiences in partnership with faculty and core course coordinators.
  • Partner with Ross Office of Diversity and Inclusion to align curriculum design and content with class learning goals and addresses student learning competencies.
  • Contribute to the development of new signature learning experiences and revisions
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal partners regarding their engagement with SLE's and the Undergraduate curriculum.
  • Enhance the student experience from application to graduation by maintaining connections with all units in the Office of Undergraduate Programs.
  • Manage staff, emphasizing understanding of unit-level strategic goals and connections to broader priorities.
  • Manage operational budget and external funds, including the Course Planning Tool for signature learning experiences..
  • Lead the development and deployment of Spire for all Ross undergrads, including hiring, and supervising interns and graders, and providing strategic direction for level-up requests.
25% Entrepreneurship Minor Administration and Advising
  • Advise prospective and current Entrepreneurship Minor students
  • Maintain academic class lists, student records, and respond to requests.
  • Represent the interests of the minor at admitted student events, major/minor expos, and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem events.
  • Review petitions for exceptions to minor requirements and make recommendations to faculty director
  • Support the management and growth of the EM alumni community and network
  • Support efforts of Academic and Career support departments across campus for students interested in entrepreneurship and innovation across U-M at large
  • Distribute gift funds to units supporting undergraduate Entrepreneurship students across U-M at large
  • Manage budget and donations by establishing and managing the operating budget, with faculty director approval, and ensuring compliance of all financial policies.
  • Represent and support main priorities as directed by the Office of Undergraduate Programs such as BBA games, on campus orientation efforts
Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years in related positions in a complex organization, with experience in higher education.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
Additional Information
The general salary range for this position is $76,000-$84,000. You can expect to be paid a great compensation package. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position. You are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor alignment and transparency throughout the recruiting process. Selected candidates whose start date is 4/1/2024 or after, will not be eligible for the university FY24-25 salary/merit plan unless otherwise notified.
