Summary
The individual in this role will report to the Assistant Director of Disability & Accessibility Support Services and will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of DASS.
Their responsibilities include increasing direct support to students who receive accommodations and fostering an environment of disability awareness and inclusion.
This position entails assisting in the provision of accommodations, as well as coordinating special projects and events.
Furthermore, it offers the opportunity to independently develop and implement accessibility projects and collaborate with various departments.
The work schedule is flexible and will be determined by departmental needs and the individual?s availability, with the understanding that some evening or weekend shifts may occasionally be necessary.
Responsibilities*
Assist with carrying out some student accommodations.
Assist with proctoring tests
Front desk coverage.
Provide training to students on assistive technology.
Facilitate projects to engage students on campus
