The newly established group of Dr. Herman Fung at Cell & Developmental Biology (CDB) and the Life Sciences Institute (LSI) is looking for a Laboratory Manager to help set up a lab (https://www.lsi.umich.edu/science/our-labs/herman-fung-lab). Our group uses cutting-edge cryo-EM and cryo-ET methods to explore human structural cell biology with a focus on chromatin and nuclear structures. You will join a dynamic team of technology developers, cell and structural biology experimentalists, assist with research projects, and manage daily laboratory operations. You will contribute toward a welcoming, positive atmosphere in the laboratory. The ideal candidate will have experience in molecular and cell biology, and an openness to acquiring new cryo-EM skillsets.
