Job DescriptionJoin a great team at Mizzou that supports the amazing work of the faculty, students, and stakeholders of the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy. We are looking for an outstanding teammate to help with program and outreach efforts. This position will:
  • Manage itineraries and on-site logistics for bi-weekly community talks during the academic year. This includes communicating with speakers and faculty as well as arranging livestream and other logistics.
  • Provide support for community events including the annual Constitution Day Lecture, biennial Distinguished Lecture, Awards Luncheon, and more.
  • Hire, train, and supervise the Kinder Ambassadors. These outstanding students are responsible for day-to-day office management tasks as well as providing support for larger events.
  • Promote the Institute’s story by helping to deliver internal and external newsletters as well as utilizing other communication channels.
  • Provide office support such as printing, mailing, and supply ordering.
  • Coordinate new faculty, postdoc, and graduate student onboarding.
  • Our team is small but mighty, so there will be other duties as assigned to support our people and programs.
Shift
40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
Minimum QualificationsA Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred QualificationsA Master’s degree is preferred, but not required.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $20.05 - $28.55
Grade: GGS-009
