The Missouri Telehealth Network (MTN)
Job DescriptionThe Missouri Telehealth Network (MTN) seeks a mission and customer service oriented individual to serve as an Communications Coordinator. Join our fun, mission driven and passionate team, as we work to increase access to patient-centered health care via telehealth for rural and underserved Missourians. MTN began in 1994 providing expertise in key telehealth domains including technical, clinical, operational, legal, regulatory, and evaluation. In 2014, MTN launched the Show Me ECHO (Extension for Community Outcomes) telehealth project that creates virtual communities of learning among interdisciplinary expert teams and community providers that increases capacity and quality of care for patients.
This position is part of a team that helps fulfill the MTN mission by promoting our brand and programming throughout the state of Missouri. Within our growing network of partnerships and collaborative communities, we strategize and create specialized content and materials to promote MTN projects and programs to encourage participation through digital publications. In this role, you will collaborate with the outreach team to ensure coordination and implementation of successful program outreach.
Key Responsibilities Include
  • Supports and assists Sr. Strategic Communications Associate to develop and implement successful communication and marketing strategies, and manage other related outreach tasks
  • Assists with copy creation when necessary; proofs and corrects products/presentations for proper grammar, spelling, branding and intelligibility.
  • Maintain and update content on Show-Me ECHO and MTN website
  • Use social media to share content and engage with relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare and deploy marketing emails using an online email marketing platform
  • Coordinate conference registrations
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials to build and develop brand identity
  • Identify avenues for sharing promotional and scholarly content
  • Organize and order promotional items for conferences, exhibits, etc
  • Ensures all marketing, advertising, and brand is maintained with current logos, fonts, formats, and so on; retires old product; catalogs all efforts and maintains a library of past products and campaigns
We are looking for a dynamic, creative individual with an understanding of marketing, communication, recruitment and/or sales strategies. You must be highly organized, collaborative, and have experience managing multiple priorities meeting deadlines. Proficient use of computer software such as word, excel, databases, and cloud-based application required. Qualified candidate with 1-2 years of program planning and/or coordination, presentation building and public speaking skills. Occasional in-state travel for outreach conferences and exhibits. Hybrid schedule possible once trained.
