ABOUT THE JOB>The Office of Well-Being with MU Health Care is on a mission to save and improve the lives of healthcare workers throughout our academic health system. We serve a diverse group including physicians, faculty, fellows, residents, APPs, nurses, researchers, and staff, providing essential support to promote their professional fulfillment and well-being.

As the Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing this mission. You will be responsible for the development, planning, execution, management, and evaluation of initiatives designed to enhance healthcare well-being within our organization.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION>

Working within the Office of Well-Being, the Program Manager plays an essential role in fulfilling our mission of saving and improving the lives of healthcare workers. The Program Manager will be responsible for the development, planning, execution, management, and evaluation of initiatives that promote healthcare well-being within the organization. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, comfort and familiarity with project management and reporting systems, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive meaningful change. The Program manager will help to ensure that well-being interventions are developed efficiently and aligned across the organization and roles.

Participates, as an integral member of the Office of Well-Being team, to identify, develop, deliver, and measure well-being programs and initiatives that promote healthcare well-being.style="mso-special-character: line-break;">style="mso-special-character: line-break;">

Collaborates with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the OWB and the academic health system.

Identifies potential risks and barriers to project success and develops mitigation strategies to address them proactively.style="mso-special-character: line-break;">style="mso-special-character: line-break;">

Engages key stakeholders to gather input, secure buy-in, and foster collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate effective communication - regular project updates.style="mso-special-character: line-break;">style="mso-special-character: line-break;">

Maintains comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and progress reports for leadership.style="mso-special-character: line-break;">style="mso-special-character: line-break;">

Oversees the execution of project activities and assists in the assessment of project effectiveness. Measure progress against milestones, and ensure that projects are completed on time and by established quality standards. Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and refinement.style="mso-special-character: line-break;">style="mso-special-character: line-break;">

Provides training, guidance, and support to team members as needed, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities, and promoting a culture of accountability and collaboration.style="mso-special-character: line-break;">style="mso-special-character: line-break;">

May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in nursing, human resources, health administration, business, or a related field.

Five (5) years of experience leading organizational programs that result in strategic change.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with executives and staff to drive change.

Experience working in an academic medical center.

Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
