Data & Reporting Analyst

You will join the foundation at an exciting time, with the opportunity to make a transformational impact. The foundation is in the public phase of a historic campaign to raise $3 billion to build a better future for Nebraska. The campaign is being led by many enthusiastic volunteers representing all areas of the University of Nebraska System. UNL anchors the campaign, with a goal of $1.5 billion from enthusiastic donors.

Ways you will make an impact:

  • Partner in the management of the Tableau reporting tool through the creation of new reports and dashboards, management and maintenance of existing reports, and creation and maintenance of Tableau data sources that are clear to internal and end users.
  • Design, develop, validate, implement, maintain, and enhance timely and accurate data sources and reporting.
  • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data reporting and analysis.
  • Utilize SQL and SSRS to solve reporting needs and integrate those solutions into the CRM.
  • Help formulate long-term plans for the application of information technology to reporting and to maintain continuity in the standards and ethics considerations for recorded data.

What you need:

  • Minimum Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years’ experience with direct relationship management or customer relationship management data applications, and reporting and analytical tools, including SQL, SSRS, Tableau and other information management systems.
  • Ability to analyze and understand complex data sets.
  • Create strategies, tactics, and priorities to achieve goals set out in broad directives.
  • Ability to work with and manage computer/digital-data applications.
  • Ability to gather, understand and share complex information or processes.
  • Ability to systematically identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
  • Informational analysis, auditing and testing, and ability to graphically demonstrate trends in data.
  • Strategic planning and project management.
