University of New Hampshire is Hiring a Head Coach, Women's Lacrosse Near Durham, NH

Summary Of PositionAdminister a Division I program in the sport of women’s lacrosse consistent with the policies of the University of New Hampshire, the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the America East Conference, and other appropriate organizations or governing bodies. The Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach will be responsible for facilitating the academic, athletic, and overall growth of every Women’s Lacrosse student-athlete, consistent with the Department of Athletics goal of providing an outstanding student-athlete experience. Additionally, this individual, will work closely with the Women’s Lacrosse Sport Administrator and Director of Athletics to continually assess and elevate the program’s status in the areas of academics, recruiting, staffing, budget tracking and reporting, equipment ordering, marketing/public relations, sports medicine, strength and conditioning, NCAA and conference rules compliance, alumni engagement, fundraising, and facility management.
Additional Job InformationOther minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree. Five years coaching experience. Knowledge of NCAA rules and policies.
  • Experience developing lacrosse players, recruiting strong classes of student-athletes, program management, and coaching successful teams
  • Ability to attract and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and promote an inclusive environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills dealing with prospective student-athletes, current student-athletes, staff, University personnel, parents, alumni and supporters
  • Strong organizational skills to lead a Division I athletic team
  • Ability to integrate with local youth lacrosse community to build strong engagement with and support for lacrosse in general and UNH Lacrosse specifically.

  • Network of contacts in primary recruiting areas
  • Division I Head Coaching Experience
