Position Summary | The UNM HSC Human Research Protections Office is seeking adynamic, goal-driven individual to join our team as a Human Research ReviewAnalyst. The Human Research Protections Office supports three UNMHSC HumanResearch Review Committees (HRRC). The office promotes the safety andprotection of individuals involved in human research by providing support,guidance, and education to facilitate ethical and scientifically soundresearch. The human research review analyst will be responsible forassisting in the development of the audit program, perform audit work includingplanning, preparation, conduct and verification of accuracy of reports andperform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Work is performed usingan electronic workflow database system so the chosen candidate should have astrong aptitude with technology The successful candidate will be expected to pay strongattention to details, identify potential regulatory issues, provide technicalsupport, facilitation, procedural guidance, and procedural interaction withteam mates, researchers and reviewers. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications | Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Access. Experience with preparing applications and/or other documents to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a plus. Experience with multitasking in a time-sensitive and high-volume work environment. Experience in a human research setting. Experience in a compliance-driven environment. |
