Primary Purpose Of Organizational UnitThe Behavioral Health Springboard ( BHS ) at the School of Social Work, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill links current research to mental health and substance use disorder treatment systems initiatives. BHS offers curricula development, technical assistance, program consultation, and face-to-face and online educational programs. Collaboration between the university and the community (local, regional/state, global) is mutually beneficial for exchanging knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity. These exchanges enrich scholarship and research; enhance curriculum, teaching and learning; prepare educated, engaged citizens; strengthen values and civic responsibility; address critical societal issues; and contribute to the public good. Position SummaryBHS seeks an Administrative Support Associate to work closely with the Program Director and be responsible for processing certification renewals, including reminder notifications and correspondence with applicants regarding renewals. The position will also manage trainer certifications, ensuring that trainer certificates are current and renewed on time. The role will be responsible for updating the Excel and Access database records and the Credential Verification database on the website. The position will also manage the online applications and ensure data is stored appropriately. In addition, the position will perform any assigned duties by the Program Director
This is a 1 year time limited position.
Minimum Education And Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Experience working with persons in recovery from mental health and substance use challenges
