Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
Founded in 1950, our Department of Maternal and Child Health is one of the world’s leading academic departments for research, teaching and practice. We are dedicated to improving the health of women, children and families – domestically and globally. Our teaching program provides students with broad exposure to maternal and child health population needs and priorities, as well as with the skills to become leaders of tomorrow. Currently the department has 31 faculty members, 20 of whom have primary appointments in Maternal and Child Health (MCH). Complementing these faculty are four emeritus members, and more than 65 adjunct faculty, many of whom hold leadership positions in MCH research and practice settings. Given the interdisciplinary nature of our department, faculty and staff research interests and activities span the full array of issues and areas of focus for the maternal and child health population. Our initiatives are designed to create new knowledge and directly improve the health of this population.
Position Summary
An Executive Coach is needed for the ACOG Leadership Institutes hosted by the Department of Maternal and Child Health.
Seeking experienced leader knowledgeable in four psychological assessments: 1) The Discovery Learning 360 Plus; 2)Myers Briggs Type Indicator; 3) FIRO-B; and 4) The Change Style Indicator.
The selected candidate will coach executive level leaders to help further understand the meaning of their feedback, how the feedback reports relate to one another, and to harness the feedback for future growth by settling personal development goals.
Coach will meet privately and confidentially with each of the participants over the course of the Institutes’ meetings in March and April.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Preferred candidates should be certified and proficient in the four psychological assessments: Discovery Learning 360 Plus, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, FIRO-B, and The Change Style Indicator.
Preferred candidates should have extensive experience in time-limited, executive coaching for executive leadership development programs; as well as experience in organizational development and/or coaching mid-to-senior level leaders.
Candidates with advanced degrees are preferred.
