Department Summary The Division of University Advancement contains several offices within. Study Abroad and the Alumni Association are both within the Division. These offices strive to offer strong customer service and to serve their distinct populations with the best programming possible.
Position Overview UNT Dallas is seeking an intern responsible for providing marketing support to Study Abroad and Alumni Relations.
Study abroad is a new opportunity for the UNT Dallas community. Summer 2024 will be the third summer in which the university is sending students abroad. The intern will work closely with the Assistant Director of International Studies to examine the program, assess gaps, and make suggestions for improvement through marketing.
The intern will work closely with the Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations to develop a social media plan for Alumni Relations.
Minimum Qualifications Student must be enrolled.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Willingness to learn on the job.

Preferred Qualifications - Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Marketing knowledge
- Experience with social media

Job Duties: Operational Support:
- Collect and organize data for Study Abroad Prepare reports, including spreadsheets and presentations for the above projects
Marketing Support:
- Create social media content for the above projects
- Develop study abroad student events for program promotion
- Draft marketing emails to be sent throughout the year
- Develop a student ambassador program for study abroad alumni Develop a communication calendar for study abroad.
Work Schedule: Up to 20 hours a week; Monday - Friday 9-5pm
