Department Summary
The Center for Equity Promotion (CEQP), Oregon Education Science Laboratory (OESL), and the Center for the Prevention of Abuse and Neglect (CPAN) are research centers and Grant Management Unit (GMU) within the College of Education (COE) at the University of Oregon (UO).
The GMU provides pre-award and post-award grant administrative support to projects, centers, and institutes within the GMU as well as to other centers or institutes that require GMU assistance.
We are dedicated to working with communities to better understand and support the positive development of children and families, particularly those who are underserved by education, health, and social service systems.
We focus on populations that bear the greatest burden of health and education disparities related to adverse social and economic conditions.
Our research informs culturally-specific prevention, intervention, and policy efforts that build on community strengths.
Our aim is to improve the ability of education, health, and social services delivery systems to respond to the needs of underserved communities.
Position Summary
The person in this position is responsible assists with pre and post-award management. This position works directly with Sponsored Projects Services and principal investigators to provide consultation, advice, and direction related to budgeting, personnel, and all costs associated with sponsored project budgets, to ensure both the University and research staff are in compliance with federal requirements.
This position is responsible for conceptualizing, negotiating, and managing all research-related contracts via the University's Research Contracts, and Purchasing and Contracting Services departments, along with third parties for the goods and services required of our sponsored projects
Note : This position is based in Eugene and is eligible for hybrid work arrangements.
Minimum Requirements
Three additional years of the above experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
