Part-Time Instructor in Linguistics and Black Language
The Department of Linguistics at the University of Pittsburgh seeks an instructor for two three-credit courses: Introduction to Linguistics (LING 1000) and Language and the Black Experience (LING 1253). The successful candidate will have a PhD in Linguistics with a specialization appropriate to the course. Experience in teaching similar courses at the university level is also required.
The appointment is for the fall semester, August 15, 2024, through December 31, 2024. Note that Fall Term classes start on August 26, 2024. Classes are expected to be taught in person.
