Dr Achour's lab at the College of Pharmacy, University of Rhode Island, is currently hiring a Post-Doctoral Researcher in pharmacology for one year. The main focus of this position is to generate and use ex vivo human data to support understanding of pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics in specific/disease populations. The ideal candidate should have knowledge in all stages of research conduct, from planning to presentation. Experience in pharmacokinetic modelling is desirable.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Conduct research that supports understanding of pharmacokinetics in special/disease populations.

* Publish high quality primary research articles in peer-reviewed journals

* Train graduate students in the laboratory

Required:

1. Doctorate (PhD) in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacokinetics, pharmacology.

2. Good track record of publications.

3. Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communication skills.

Preferable:

4. Experience in pharmacokinetic modelling and simulation.
