Time as Reported Grade 051 Offices for Medical Education
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
GENERAL PURPOSE
Admissions Screener positions are Time-As-Reported (TAR) assignments with an end date that allow individual(s) to work approximately five months (July-November) based upon the amount of application files received and the needs of the organization. Screener positions supplement the resources needed to reach current screening levels and offer assistance and expertise to the Admissions Committee. Screeners function primarily as first reviewers for the Admissions Office and are expected to read on average five files per hour. Screeners utilize a holistic process, thoroughly reviewing academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, personal essays, MCAT scores, as well as additional application materials. Screeners must summarize their observations in a web-based system and make a final recommendation on each applicant. Applications are assigned by the Admissions Coordinator.
NOTE: This position is end-dated, and expected to last from July 2022 through November 2022.
