Position Description
Advertised Job SummaryUnder general supervision, manages the day-to-day operations of the Vascular and Integrative Physiology Lab. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to), data collection, maintenance of lab compliance and accreditation, and day-to-day coordination of laboratory personnel. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations. This position is established in support of expanded research activities.
Required Education And ExperienceTypically requires a bachelor’s degree and 1 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred QualificationsExpertise with basic molecular biology techniques (e.g., Western blot, PCR , histology, microscopic imaging, cell culture, etc.).
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExcellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with other laboratory workers. Must be motivated and capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and data analysis software. Record keeping, management, and communication skills. Expertise with basic molecular biology techniques (e.g., Western blot, PCR , histology, microscopic imaging, cell culture, etc.). Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.
