Manage all graduate activities for the college to ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the college and university as they pertain to student program services. Coordinate the various student services programs for the college and the smooth operation of the graduate student services office in the department.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer experience in Higher Education. Knowledge of USC policies and procedures and IMS.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Above-average typing and experience with Microsoft Office. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compile the financial report for each award and produce all information as it pertains to the various graduate students for nomination of awards and/or fellowships.

Serve as liaison between the Graduate Director and various departments on campus which include but not limited to the Graduate School, Registrar’s Office, and the Financial Aid Office. Provide the Graduate School with necessary forms, and correspondence as it pertains to the progress and/or current status of the students.

Provide all managerial functions to ensure efficient and continued operation of the graduate program; download all applications and support materials from the Graduate School website. Implement the filemaker program to maintain the daily upkeep of the student files (new applicants, current students and alumni) always maintaining student confidentiality when providing student information. Prepare perspective applicants for committee evaluation. Survey faculty and department each semester on bases of need and availability of assistantship; provide Financial Aid Office with appropriate forms for tuition as it pertains to assistantships.

Perform all editing, updating and publishing of materials (forms, student handbooks etc.) as it relates to the policies and procedures of the department/college for all faculty advisors, student support and students.
