Job Summary

The Psychology Program at the University of West Georgia seeks applications from qualified candidates to fill a Limited Term Instructor position beginning August 2024. Known for our focus on Humanistic Psychology, our psychology program draws from humanistic, transpersonal, and critical psychology theories. The LTI will be responsible for a 5/4 teaching load on a semester calendar, with courses potentially including Intro to General Psychology as well as upper-level courses such as Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Culture and Psychology.

Required Qualifications

  • M. A. in Psychology at the time of appointment

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD or PsyD in psychology
  • Prior successful teaching experience in online and in person learning environments
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
