Job Description

JOB TITLE:
Project Coordinator, Senior - Wyoming Creative Economy Program
JOB PURPOSE:
This position reports to the Executive Director of the Neltje Center and is responsible for managing the operational, financial, and personnel functions of the Wyoming Innovation Partnership Grant - Creative Economy Program under limited supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate and manage the administrative, financial, and personnel activities of designated large and/or complex project.
  • Develop project goals and objectives and revise as necessary; develop and implement a comprehensive plan for delivery and assessment of project objectives and goals.
  • Represent Wyoming or the University at grant functions, or other meetings and events, which may include reporting on projects, planning collaborations with other project professionals, and evaluating projects.
  • Develop recruiting and funding strategies; plan and write grant proposals; negotiate approval of grant awards; write reports on status of funded projects.
  • Develop project budgets; disseminate funding and monitor expenses against budget allocations.
  • Direct and supervise the project personnel functions including hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of staff.
  • Consult with faculty, counselors, staff members, and the public to assist students and/or program participants associated with the project.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This is a full-time position with a combination of onsite and remote work responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 3 years work-related experience
Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in arts management or a closely related field
  • Experience in project coordination and event management
  • Supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
