UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring for The Program Coordinator will provide support 50% to the Graduate Career Development Office and the Graduate School Dean\'s office, as follows:\n* Provide administrative support of recruiting efforts for students and postdocs, demonstrating proficiency with software, high organizational ability, and impeccable attention to detail.\n* Coordinate and execute an annual calendar of professional development programming for graduate students and postdocs at various stages of their careers.\n* Support trainee organization and GCD programming logistics\n* Oversee and report on program expenditures, manage annual program budget planning and development, provide analysis and assessment of activities.\n* Advise student/postdoc-led organizations, organize leadership training for the Career Leadership Committee and the Graduate Career Peer Advising Program.\n* Manage assessment materials, annual licenses, and accounts. • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field, and at least five (5) years experience in appropriate field required.
• May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education.

• Analyzes, coordinates, and evaluates program operation and procedures.
• Develops or oversees development of budget for program.
• Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program.
• Establishes program goals and objectives and directs program evaluation and quality control activities; develops and/or approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals.
• Plans and coordinates special events. Participates in conferences.
• Presents data and program information.
• Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Reads literature and attends functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to program. May provide supervision to staff members.
• Create marketing materials for events and maintain social media presence
• Assist with brainstorming effective programming
• Assist student organizations and GCD events with tracking and approving expenses for activities and materials
• Input all student org and GCD events on Google Calendar
• Schedule and organize semester bi-annual group planning meetings with student organizations that are supported by GCD office
• Develop alumni list for speaking and mentoring initiatives
• Develop advertising campaign for the launch of BRIDGE curriculum
• Assist with identifying and scheduling external speakers for GCD events
• Update job listings and GCD resources on GCD website
