JOB DESCRIPTION:
Food Service Workers are essential in feeding everyone within the hospital. They may help with:
Preparing a patient's meal and assembly of the tray for delivery
Delivery of meals to patient rooms
Running the cash registers in our various cafeterias
Dish washing
Separating trash/recycle/compost
Re-stocking supplies
Job routines require patient interaction, working as a team, ability to stand for long periods of time and move large carts throughout hospital.
We have full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities available for your consideration.
Great attitude and navigation skills are helpful!
Experience is preferred;however, this is a great way to join the UVM Medical Center team and begin an amazing career in food service and healthcare.
Daytime shifts available:
6:00-2:30 p.m.
6:30-3:00 p.m.
7:30-4:00 p.m.
8:00-4:30 p.m.
9:00-5:30 p.m.
Evening shifts available:
3:00-9:00p.m.
4:00-9:00 p.m.
4:30-9:00 p.m.
5:00-9:00 p.m.
PAY & BENEFITS:
Base Pay: Hourly rates starting at $16.63/hour and up based on experience.
Shift Differentials: In addition to the hourly rate of pay, there is a $1.15 to $6.15 differential depending on which shift you work.
