Skills Required
- Granulation, Blending (12 positions)
- Compression (7 positions)
- Encapsulation (5 positions)
- Operate pharmaceutical production machinery independently.
- Execute manufacturing processes according to batch manufacturing records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, and setup as per SOPs, ensuring area and equipment cleanliness.
- Prepare rooms and equipment for line clearance, replace filters, verify calibration of scales, and check room pressure differentials.
- Ensure line clearance before starting manufacturing activities.
- Receive/transfer materials, check dispensed materials, final mix blends, compressed tablets, and labeling per BMR.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as per SOP/BMR.
- Operate applicable equipment independently in designated areas.
- Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to maintain product specifications.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout manufacturing.
- Complete manufacturing documents accurately and on time.
- Train on all relevant SOPs and maintain compliance with cGMP.
- Perform duties safely according to Health & Safety procedures and Equipment Manuals.
- Flexibility to work extended hours to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Maintain discipline and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industrial environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Positive, professional attitude and willingness to cooperate with coworkers and supervisors.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, additional hours, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work with powders containing active pharmaceutical ingredients.
- Capable of heavy lifting/bending frequently.
- Able to stand/walk for long periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to move pallets/equipment weighing 200-300 kg using pallet jacks.
