Patient Services Representative

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned like faxing, scanning, and uploading documents
Requirements:
- Intermediate knowledge with Apple, Google Docs, Drive, and Sheets
- Minimum 2 years current position experience working in a medical, chiropractic, or massage clinic
- Strong administrative and organizational skills including spelling, grammar, digital etiquette, faxing, scanning, scheduling, task prioritization
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to massage
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
