The UNM Health and Health Sciences Marketing andCommunications Department (MarCom) is looking for an exceptional writer toenhance internal and external communications at the UNM School of Medicine! Theselected candidate will be on the MarCom team but will work directly with theSchool’s executive leadership team as well. The selected candidate will focussquarely on the School’s communication needs while working closely with a dyadpartner who will support the School’s marketing needs.

MarCom is a highly skilled department meeting thecommunication and marketing needs of UNM’s Health Clinical System and theHealth Sciences academic and research units. The UNM School of Medicine isclosely tied with the UNM Health System to create New Mexico's only educationand training opportunities for MDs and other health care professions.

Details of the role:

• Create written articles featuring the students, staff,researchers, faculty, missions, and programs for external use for the UNMSchool of Medicine.

• Write executive level internal and external communicationsfor the Dean of the School of Medicine and other executive level staff.

• Create and produce internal communications newsletter forthe UNM School of Medicine.
