We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our accounting department at our corporate headquarters located in Tampa, Florida. This role will perform daily tasks to intermediate level accounting work which includes playing a key part in driving the success of our business by contributing to the financial close process and building strong cross functional relationships with other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Review purchase orders for completeness and billing.
- Bill customers for orders shipped.
- Code and enter vendor invoices into the system.
- Prepare daily payment list for the controller to review and pay.
- Enter daily payments into the system.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting preparation, analysis, and distribution.
- Enter journal entries into the system.
- Review, track and analyze costs.
- Provide accurate and timely information to senior management that will enable them to make the best decisions for the Company.
Preferred Skills/Abilities
- 3 years of experience in accounting
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Strong work ethic with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
