Purpose:
The UPMC Western Behavioral Health Center for Eating Disorders is expanding its outpatient services and hiring Masters level Behavioral Health Therapists. Candidates would be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, RDs, CRNP, and a Clinical Nurse Specialist, in addition to Bachelors and Masters level clinicians. The purpose of this job is to provide clinical treatment services to the targeted population, primarily in our new Adolescent IOP track. This is an outpatient treatment program designed to serve patients (ages 12-17) with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder who meet dimensions for outpatient and/or partial hospitalization treatment criteria. BHT I Clinicians are responsible for facilitating groups and conducting assessments with an opportunity to advance to carrying a caseload of individuals and families. LPC and LCSW candidates are provided supervision for state licensure by our experienced LPC and/or LCSW supervisors. Group facilitation and assessment experience strongly preferred. Eating disorder experience preferred, but not required.
