Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for daily management and optimization of social media channels, creating and implementing social media strategies, analyzing social media data and metrics, writing engaging social media content, and communicating with the online community. The Social Media Manager will also be responsible for creating and managing social media advertising campaigns unless we have a dedicated advertising analyst currently on the team.
Qualifications
- Social Media Marketing and Communication skills
- Experience in developing content strategies for social media
- Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
- Excellent writing skills for social media
- Experience creating content in Canva
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience with social media advertising campaigns is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Expectations
- Set the frequency and type of content to be posted for Upsilon content on all platforms
- Communicate with content editor the time and specifics of the content deliverables ensuring it's completion to post in a timely manner
- Once a week meetings with the CEO
- Create all the IG feed and story content using Canva
