Large Orthopedic Surgical Practice is seeking a Workers Compensation Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist.

WORK FROM HOME options available once fully trained.

Job Duties:

Ensure complete and accurate billing including review of EOBs, NODS, C8.1s, C8.4, and other official board forms, investigating accounts, appropriately handling denials and appeals, and maintaining aged accounts. Responsible for all communications on assigned cases with patients, adjustors, attorneys, and carriers via all means of communication including new onBOARD WC system, telephone, fax, and paper correspondence. Other duties as assigned.

High level of professionalism required, must be effective communicator and able to work as part of larger Workers Compensation team.

Experience/Education

Associates Degree

Minimum of two years Medical Billing/Accounts Receivable experience

Experience with Workers Compensation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
