Description:

We are based in Sausalito, California looking for a Research Scientist to work in a hybrid capacity out of our Bay Area headquarters. We are a fast-paced, early-stage company, growing rapidly, run by a small but highly efficient team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Enhance the credibility of our data trials by serving as an advisor for the setup process and protocol development

· Assist in expanding research operations in California, including field visits and data collection

· Design and execute data-driven lab experiments to guide our internal R&D strategy

· Develop standardized protocols for testing / monitoring

· Formulate hypotheses regarding the impact of the UpTerra system, including the variables affected, the mechanisms involved, and the observed phenomena

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in agriculture, food science, environmental science, or related fields.
• Excellent project management abilities, adept at prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing resources efficiently.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring diverse audiences and driving positive change in the agricultural sector.
