DescriptionAbout the Company:At Upway, we are committed to making electric mobility accessible to everyone. We are in the process of building the largest marketplace for brand-new and certified pre-owned e-bikes. Our goal is to offer consumers the broadest selection of e-bikes at competitive prices, all while providing the peace of mind that comes with professional reconditioning and warranties. By rapidly advancing our mission, we aim to accelerate the transition to more sustainable and efficient modes of transportation. This includes reducing waste through the extension of e-bikes' lifecycles and returning urban space to the community. We are enthusiastic about bringing this vision to life and playing our part in addressing some of today's most significant environmental and urban challenges.
Upway is a startup backed by prestigious investment funds such as Sequoia Capital, Exor, and Koreyla. In its first two years, Upway has successfully expanded its operations across France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and more recently the United States (in March 2023).

What You Will Do
- Business Planning: Strategize, forecast, and create robust business plans for Upway US, constantly evaluating and recalibrating against results, ensuring adaptability and agility as needed.
- Performance Oversight: Monitor, understand, and interpret key financial and operational metrics to shape strategic direction and actionable plans. Deepen the comprehension of the elements influencing our business.
- Marketing Strategy: Act as a thought partner for the GM & the marketing team, support and drive key initiatives in order to track and optimise our marketing investments and broader capital deployment.
- Pricing Strategy: Refine and enhance Upway's pricing model, integrating and optimizing essential variables to ensure accessibility while aligning with business goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaborative relationships across teams, driving projects and initiatives forward, guaranteeing alignment with the organization's overarching strategic objectives.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adept at extracting actionable insights from data.
- Project & Stakeholders Management: Excels in planning and executing initiatives of varying durations and scales while effectively managing stakeholders.
- Innovation and Autonomy: Displays proactive, innovative, and self-reliant qualities in identifying and implementing process improvements and standard methodologies.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving business environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience in business strategy, project management, or related roles.
- Data Mastery: Proficiency with data analysis tools (GSheets, SQL) is a must.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent English language skills are essential for this role.
