**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant during peak hours, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales through effective team management and cost control. This role is perfect for a hospitality professional with a passion for food and a knack for leadership. **Responsibilities:** - Supervise and lead a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff during peak hours, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food preparation. - Manage the restaurant floor, ensuring that all guests receive prompt attention and that the dining area is clean and welcoming. - Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and controlling labor costs to meet budget goals. - Develop and implement effective staff training programs, ensuring that all team members are knowledgeable about menu items, service standards, and restaurant policies. - Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to manage and resolve customer complaints and concerns. - Manage the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date. - Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall dining experience. - Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. **Requirements:** - Experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably as an Assistant Manager or Team Leader. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Ability to multitask and work well under pressure. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Knowledge of food handling and preparation practices. - Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. - Proven experience in budgeting and staff training. - Certification in food handling or a related field is a plus. **Skills:** - Assistant manager experience - Hospitality skills - Food handling experience - Staff training expertise - Team management skills - Budgeting knowledge - Customer service skills - Banquet management experience - POS system proficiency - Training development skills
