Urban Cabinets Company produces and installs Commercial (and Residential) Casework and Countertops. All manufactured in our highly automated facility in Woodinville. Currently about 70% of the work we do is Residential and 30% Commercial.

We are looking for a talented, driven, and self-motivated individual to help increase our sales with more Commercial projects.

This position might be perfect for an experienced drafter who wants to gain experience with Commercial Casework Project Management and Sales.

This position might also be perfect for somebody with significant install experience who would like to break into Project Management and Estimating.

We are looking for candidate with the following background and skills:

• Knowledge of Commercial Casework (reception desks, kiosks, restaurant casework and countertops, lunch room, break rooms, wall paneling grids, ceiling grids, etc)
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
• Experience installing Commercial and/or residential cabinetry
• Ability to draft projects utilizing one or more of the the following programs: AutoCad, Mozaik, SketchUp, KCD, 20/20
• Hands-on, willing and able to create solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of proficiency and aptitude with the latest technology
• Self starter and highly motivated

The responsibilities of the Commercial Casework Lead include:

• Estimating Commercial Casework projects.
• Drafting and Engineering projects
• Providing drawings and submittals to clients.
• Working with client to value engineer projects
• Coordinating with material vendors
• Coordinating with subcontractors and vendors
• Coordination field measurements and supervising installers.
• Provide engineering and output to CNC machines.
• Coordinate with assembly staff during fabrication
• Manage changes during installation.
• Outreach to potential Commercial Casework clients
