We are a small but rapidly growing company with an office based in Manhattan, specializing in hosting both domestic and international travelers for extended stays in furnished luxury apartments. We have nearly 250 apartments all across Manhattan and even a few in Brooklyn-and we're always adding more!

No two days are ever the same, but there is always plenty to do. We are working on building our company to be even more streamlined and collaborative, and we're looking for our next all star team member to join our family. Think that's you? 

As a hospitality operations intern at Urban Furnished, you will assist the Experience team in various aspects of furnished rental operations, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and other ad hoc projects. You will also participate in special projects, such as SOP creation, quality assurance, listing management, and guest satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to work with different departments, learn from experienced professionals, and gain valuable insights into the hospitality industry. We are looking to bring our company to the next level, and we want you to be a part of the excitement! 

This is an UNPAID internship. We are looking for a commitment of about 15 hours a week, with days spent IN PERSON in our office located in Chelsea. This position will be starting before the end of May. 

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in hospitality, tourism, business, operations, or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Ability to reliably commute to our office in Chelsea
• Strong interest and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and operations
• An eye for the big picture, and the fine details 
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with guests and staff from diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and some familiarity with property management systems (i.e. Guesty, Micros, Synxis, Opera, etc.)
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities
• Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
