Urban Pioneering Architecture, DPC is a boutique sustainable design, architecture, and interior design firm located in Midtown Manhattan that specializes in customized residential and small commercial projects for a diverse clientele.

UPA is looking for a talented and self-motivated intermediate level candidate to join our growing team. We are looking for qualified candidates who are eager to become involved in all phases of design from concept to completion. We are looking for someone who can start part- to full-time in our office with the intention of becoming full-time in the near future. Working remotely may be considered on a limited basis at first.

Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

Applicant must have graduated prior to 2023.

2 - 3 years experience working in high-end residential architecture or interior design in New York City.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required.

Proficiency in Revit, Sketch-up, AutoCAD Architecture, Adobe Suite a plus.

Able to produce a full set of construction documents from existing conditions through NYC DOB filing drawings and construction details with guidance from principal and project manager.

Working knowledge of current NYC building codes.

Excellent graphic skills and the ability to put together presentations.

Excellent organizational, writing and verbal skills.

Capable of communicating directly with clients, contractors and vendors.

Able to work with a team in a small collaborative office environment
