URENCO USA is Hiring an Operator I,II,III Near Eunice, NM

Summary Of ResponsibilitiesMonitor, control and operate uranium enrichment equipment and other production-related equipment at URENCO USA to produce enriched uranium while protecting the health and safety of the public and plant employees and preventing damage to plant equipment and structures. Below are the responsibilities in general form for an overall Operator summary of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
  • Act and manage in a manner that is unbiased and consistent with company core values while being able to recognize and address behavior that is both desired and inappropriate.
  • Can be counted on to be present when needed and dependable in attendance.
  • Handles all required administrative functions such as arranging and printing of needed documents and procedures and accurately gathering and reproducing information and statistics.
  • Give Operations customers needed priority and responds quickly to their concerns. Capable of building positive and fruitful relationships with outside and support organizations.
  • Place priority on the formal training and development of subordinates and is able to provide feedback and coaching to challenge and stretch individual skills to meet the needs of the shift team.
  • Modify behavior or actions to suit changing situations or organizational objectives while maintaining focus and productivity.
  • Create and communicate comprehensible reports dealing with complex issues and problems, and use the findings to devise methods for improving processes.
  • Manage and prioritize every day actions as well as long term responsibilities while consistently producing excellent results.
  • Manage tasks and processes methodically and accurately verifying all work and correcting flaws and errors others may overlook.
  • Demonstrate mastery of required job-related knowledge, and mastery in the performance of essential job requirements, while applying them to the nuclear industries standards, practices and processes.
  • Understand and possess the manual dexterity to understand and safely operate complex mechanical devices and systems.
Job RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor s degree in Science, Engineering or Energy Technology with over four years experience in a chemical process or operations environment. All candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff members of all levels of the organization. Strong teamwork skills are needed to positively communicate company vision, values and goals while promoting the organizational culture.
