GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Customer Service / Office Assistant serves as a direct point of contact for UPI’s customer and is responsible for taking customer orders, posting order into sales tracking and accounting system, communicating customer order requirements to factory warehousing and operations management and subsequent tracking UPI customer orders.
CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Prior receptionist and administrative support experience is required. Possession of at least a high school diploma is required and a post-secondary degree is preferred. Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and production management software will be necessary to perform essential job functions. Ability to work in a methodical and organized fashion. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. use of protective gear). Driving may be a requirement for this position. Therefore, must have the ability to travel domestically via operating a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver license and driving record which is acceptable to our insurance provider. The ability to travel by plane and/or overnight travel may also be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes, chemicals and/or airborne particles, high pressure fluids, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
