Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical and surgical care to our animal patients while building strong relationships with their owners.
Duties:
- Perform medical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and recommend appropriate treatment plans for animals
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying/neutering and emergency surgeries
- Administer vaccinations and medications
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and general animal welfare
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure efficient patient care
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- State veterinary license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, including surgical techniques and diagnostic procedures
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and veterinary critical care
Skills:
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology
- Experience in animal catheterization
- Knowledge of practice management principles
- Understanding of animal husbandry practices
- Familiarity with dog training methods
- Skill in animal restraint techniques
- Ability to perform pet grooming when necessary

Pay: From $80.00 per hour
