Avera is seeking a highly talented Medical Scribe to join the team!!

Position Highlights:

Gain hands-on experience in care working alongside nurses and other professionals who are passionate about creating a positive impact.

Job Summary

Supports a clinic physician by proficiently operating the Electronic Medical Record by efficiently entering orders and documenting patient encounters for the physician; allowing him/her to focus their time on direct patient care rather than the computer.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Medical terminology knowledge required.

Transcription experience preferred.

Work Schedule

80 hours per 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$17.50 - $21.25 per hour
