UrgiKids is a pediatric urgent care clinic and wants to hire an X-ray Technician/Medical Assistant to serve the kids and families in our clinic. We prioritize candidates with a team mentality to provide fun, energetic, kid-friendly care. Our team will be kind and professional, provide an excellent patient experience, and maintain evidence-based pediatric care.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Greeting patients and families with a warm welcome and showing careful attention to patient flow in the clinic
• Assisting with patient registration as needed
• Obtaining vital signs and general medical information from the patient/family
• Performing x-rays for injured patients and assist providers with imaging
• Preparing patients for procedures and obtain routine testing, including swabs, urine collection
• Providing wound care, splint placement, and patient education for general injuries
• Utilizing electronic medical records and completing tasks in the expected timeframe
• Completing provider orders for medication administration and possess a general knowledge of pediatric medication safety

Position expectation and preferences:

• Successful completion of radiology technician certification
• Prior pediatric experienced preferred
• Communicating effectively with the provider and care team to provide effective and efficient care
• Adaptability for patient needs that arise and flexibility in fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and attitude of helpfulness toward other team members
• Demonstrate professional and friendly demeanor
• Capable of multi-tasking
• Attending team meetings, mandatory training, and/or proficiency checks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
