Urological Associates of Savannah, PC has an immediate opening for a part-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and/or LPN for its Savannah location. Position involves work in a clinic environment assisting physicians and extenders. Strong medical terminology, communication and typing skills are needed as Greenway PrimeSuite EMR is utilized. Must enjoy a fast-paced environment, serving patient needs, and have previous experience working in a medical office. Office hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This position is a part-time, non-benefited position with some late evening closure times and a flexible schedule dependent upon staffing needs. (PRN)
General Summary of Duties : Responsible for providing professional medical assistant/nursing care for patients under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager and Physicians by following established standards and practices. Assists physicians and staff in coordinating patient care. Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team. Ensures patient safety and quality of life.
Education : High School Diploma or GED; Graduation from an accredited school with certification and/or one (1) year on the job training in related field
Experience : Preferred one (1) year medical practice experience
Requirements : Current Medical Assisting Certificate or LPN license (whichever applies) Current BCLS certificate
